The state emblem of the People's Federation of Quebec was first adopted in May 2019, by the former United People's Republic of Quebec, Although it technically is an emblem rather than a coat of arms, since it does not follow traditional heraldic its still considered by most a coat of arms. It was the first state insignia created in the style known as socialist heraldry, a style also seen in emblems of other socialist countries such as the emblem of the People's Republic of China.
History
Creation of the emblem
In the spring of 2019, the Commission for the Development of Quebecois Symbolics began its work in Citadelle. In those days, compositions of the first Quebecois brands and banknotes were created. On 25 of May, the design was made and passed and on 11 of July the Socialist state was reformed and the Emblem was reused.
Redesign
On 31 October 2019, the flag of Quebec was redesigned. the Commission for the Development of Quebecois Symbolics began its work in Citadelle again to create another emblem. The current emblem was voted on by the Supreme Council and passed democratically with a vote of 4-1-0.
