A controversial incident, the South Mcarthian Intervention is a conflict that received minimal recognition from the majority of micronations. Mcarthia never officially recognised the South Mcarthian "MPLA" (Mcarthian People's Liberation Army) or South Mcarthia as a state and kept itself distant from the so called "rebels".

History

The NEFTO Intervention Peacekeeping Force was a purpose built force to intervene into conflicts between micronations allied with NEFTO and those who would seek to attack them. When a NEFTO member became the attacker, it's role became more diplomatic and delicate. Led by Thomas "El-Tegani" Elliot and Alexander Smith, South Mcarthia began to stir tensions among micronations as they embarked on a smear campaign against Mcarthia. Mcarthia, having been inactive for some time was not able to put up a defense. The MPLA changed their strategy to a smear campaign against Anthony Clark and other MiroWiki administrators, micronational leaders and public figures.

Built up by Rex. Keenan Carr of the Kingdom of Neuk, the peacekeeping force took the role of attempting to control the damage caused by South Mcarthia's actions and prevent them from making enemies of the most powerful micronations. Unpredictable, Colonel El-Tegani led the smear campaign calling for the fall of Anthony Clark. Keenan's sympathies were clearly with Anthony, having found his interest of micronaions through Mcarthia in 2015.
