Platovia, officially the Socialist Republic of Platovia (SRP), was a short-lived micronation that claimed territory on Vancouver Island in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The self-proclaimed socialist state was heavily influenced by the ideologies, politics and aesthetics of the Eastern Bloc countries during the Cold War-era.
