The Social Moralist People's Party of O'Duighan is the current ruling party of the People's Empire of O'Duighan, which came to power after Harold Duighan proclaimed a Fascist State on Basemen 13, 1901, and proclaimed the National Moralist Party as the ruling party. It was renamed to the Social Moralist People's Party of O'Duighan after Fascism was abolished about a month after it took power. It follows Social Moralism, a Christian Socialist/Communist ideology created by Harold Duighan, which is the state ideology of O'Duighan.
One Party State
On Basemen 36, 1901, Harold Duighan declared the abolition of Fascism in O'Duighan and declared that the party would convert to Duighanism. He renamed the party to the Social Moralist People's Party of O'Duighan 3 days later. Now, the party controls the entire government.
Symbols
The symbols of the party consist of four things:
- The National Moralist Cross, which consists of a red St. Julian's Cross with a gold square in the middle. It is a symbol of God and Strength, two essentials things in the party.
- The Fasces. It is a symbol of unity in the party.
- God. God is seen as one of the most important symbols of the party, as he is seen as the face of traditional Christian morality.
- The Moral Salute. It is a variation of the Fascist Salute, however the arm is pointed straight upwards, towards the heavens. This is seen as a symbol that the party is up in the heavens with God, as it champions Christianity and traditional Christian morals.
