A personal friend of the Emperor before the Empire of Havenfall was founded, Jeb Sherrill was offered and accepted the position of Imperial adviser, becoming a Knight of the Dragon, and being created the first Grand Duke of Portland. The Grand Duke's daily routine revolves around advising the Emperor on Imperial policy, including social and economic laws. In the case of war, the Grand Duke serves as second in command of Havenfall's military, having the rank of Hersir.
The Grand Duke is also an author and actor in his spare time.
