Etymology

Sepulvedia comes from Sepulveda, the name of a wealthy Mexican Vaqero and grantee of San Joaquin.

History

The area is known to have been inhabited since the 10 thousands BP, but later, the Uto Aztecans settled the area, being influenced by southern Aztec Culture. Later, the Spanish came and colonized the Area as a part of the Vcr. New Spain. The hills in the area remained in charts until the 1930's when the area was incorporated into Irvine. The area was then converted into a residential complex called Orchard Hills.

Setara

The area of Sepulvedia came under the jurisdiction of the Province of Juniperia, which later seceded from Setara, forming the Grand duchy and later kingdom of Juniperia.
