Sect X was a religious organization in the Nyeusi Socialist Republic. The organization claimed to practice Islam, but this claim is disputed as the organization allegedly followed the teachings of the Nation of Islam. The organization had been accused of being a cult of personality by Nyeusi president Jacob Gath.
History
Sect X was founded on February 12, 2024, by the chancellor of OmaliX, Tobias Arlot. The organization rose to prominence after the start of the Israel-Hamas War, vocally siding with Palestine.
In OmaliX, the organization sewed discord by proclaiming the territory as an Islamic State. Arlot was subsequently impeached by the Parliament of Nyeusi, in a partisan vote of 9-3, with all members of the People's Party opposing the impeachment. Sect X was dissolved by the government on March 20, 2024.
