The Second Rhodesian Bush War was a civil war fought between the Rhodesian Republic and the rebel group calling itself "Islamic Talibanist Emirate of Rhodesia", an Islamist fundamentalist group whose aim was to occupy the Republic.

Causes

One of reasons for the civil war was the bad treatment of Shia Muslims in Northern Rhodesia, as the rebels claim. However, the Government of Rhodesia said that they wanted to make Rhodesia a hub for terrorism.

Course of Action

6. December:

An uprising in the northern Rhodesian town of Mohamedgrad begins.

7. December:

National Defence Forces of Rhodesia start big fights with the Talibanist God's Army.

8.December:

The Talibanist God's Army occupies Yara City after 7 straight hours of fighting, pushing back the NDFR.

9. December:

Fall of Salisbury after 4 and half hours of non stop fighting.

10. December:

The Eastern Alliance is formed and the Liberation of Yara City.

11. December

Liberation of Salisbury, Rhodesian Republic reestablished.

Major Battles

The first major battle was the Battle of Yara City, a harsh and long battle, with non stop fighting for 7 hours, and resulted in a Talibanist victory. The second major battle was the Fall of Salisbury, and was a four and a half hours long battle, with non stop fighting, it also resulted in a Talibanist Victory, in a second blow to the Rhodesian Government.

The third major battle was Battle of Mohamedgrad, where the uprising started. Lasting 2 hours long, it resulted into an NDFR victory.

The fourth major battle was Liberation of Yara City, it was 3 hours long, and was also a NDFR victory

The fifth and last major battle was the Liberation of Salisbury, it was 4 hours long, where the NDFR won a decisive victory, vanquishing the ITER.

Micronational Reaction and Diplomatic Support

 Melite: President Matthew Tonna of the D.C.R. Melite expressed his support and recognition of the Rhodesian Government.

End of the War

In 11. December, last Talibanist forces have been defeated in Batttle of Royal Palace, it was one hour long, Talibanist leader, Aleskandar has been punished with exile for life.

Aftermath

The Islamist Emirate is dissolved and the Rhodesian economy started to recover from civil war, on the area where uprising started, a new Administration for safety has been estabilshed, now Shias have high autonomy, but they don't have right to proclaim independence. In September 2022, low level insurgency has been happening near border with Vlasina Islamic Republic.
