Second Republic of Primis, formerly the Sovereignty of Primis, then the State of Primis, then the Federal Republic of Libertas, is a Micronation in Southern Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and online. Primis is the successor state of the once-existing micronations "Sovereignty of Primis", which was then "Federal Republic of Libertas", which was formerly "Sovereignty of Veritasland".
Etymology
The nation is all about having its micronation first, bringing it to glory and to the best it can. So, the word "Primis" comes from the Latin word "First"
History
Ancient History
The land now known as Victoria has a rich history of Indigenous habitation, with evidence indicating that Aboriginal peoples have lived in the region for over 60,000 years. These diverse societies developed complex cultures and deep connections to the land long before European settlement.
Colonial Era
The colonial era began in 1835 when European explorers, led by John Batman and others, arrived in the area and established settlements. By 1851, Victoria was officially separated from New South Wales and became its colony. The discovery of gold in the early 1850s sparked a significant gold rush, attracting thousands of prospectors and immigrants worldwide, and leading to rapid population growth and economic development.
Victorian Era
During the Victorian era, under the leadership of figures such as Premier John O'Shanassy, the region saw substantial advancements in education, infrastructure, and industry. The construction of iconic buildings and the establishment of cultural institutions marked this period, shaping Melbourne into a vibrant metropolis and affirming its status as one of the world's great cities.
Beginnings
Founded in early 2021 under the name "Sovereignty of Veritasland", the micronation went on as an Authoritarian Ultranationalist micronation, often suppressing every single one of their opposing people. Overall, it was okay to live there unless you disagreed with the government.
Establishment of the Libertas Republican Movement
Many republican movements were formed, eventually coming together to unite under the name "Libertas Republican Movement", with their goal being to bring freedom and republicanism to Veritasland. So, they took over the land in North-West Veritasland, naming their newly made republic "Republic of Libertas" under President Zacharias, the head of the Republican party of Libertas.
Collapse of Veritasland and Rise of Libertas
Following the decreasing amount of Veritaslandians in Veritasland due to them all escaping and moving into Libertas, the dissolution of Veritasland soon came as their population came as low as five people. So with that, the Republic of Libertas took over the whole of the former land of Veritasland, making it all one Micronation, freeing the land from further totalitarianism.
Introduction of Federalism
With a democratic vote, the people of Libertas voted on making Libertas a federal republic, having their own provinces/states. These states include Cheltone, Mordidale, Patterson, Greater Frankston, and Springvale. Most of these provinces are just suburbs combined into one state, and they all have their federal leaders/governors.

June Elections and Rise of Nationalism
The Federal Republic of Libertas placed an election on 28/06/2024 (28th of June 2024), and it had two political parties competing against each other; The Republican Party and the Nationalist Party. The people of Libertas, through getting Nationalist propaganda, voted the Nationalist Party to be their new governing party. The Nationalist Party, as the name suggests, is an Ultranationalist, Totalitarian party that gives only limited free speech. With the June Elections coming out to have the Nationalists take over, Libertas was no more and is now the "Federal Sovereignty of Primis". The leaders of each province/region have now also turned to nationalistic views, but are really just ruled over by the supreme leader and sovereign, Zacharias.
Colonization of Bagongland
During Sovereign Zacharias' trip to the Philippines, where he had come from, he started to seek micronational benefits as he was there. He came up with the idea of colonizing the little block of land his family and friends had owned in Puerto Galera, Mindoro, Philippines. With only about 20 or so people in that block and a lot of crops, sand, and agriculture to use, Zacharias saw this as a beneficial use for Primis. So, he claimed it as a territory, colonizing it, calling it "Bagongland". "Bagong" means "Newly" land in Tagalog (Language of the Philippines), and "Land", for, well, the land. As pf mow. it has a population of around 20-40 people and is taken care of by trusted family members of Zacharias, and it is remembered as the first overseas territory of Primis.
Ephemeral End of Primis
11th July 2024 is the day when the Federal Sovereignty of Primis came to what they thought was the end. It came to an end due to the lack of activity in the micronation, and the amount of tension growing towards other micronations, and it was described as "overwhelming to deal with" by the higher-ranking government figures of Primis. On that night, the Primis communications and discord server was shut down, not being thought to return.
The Return and Restoration of Primis
On the 16th of July, 2024, only 5 days after what was thought to be the end of Primis, the Primisian Government and people decided that they wanted to bring back better, and so that is what they did. They brought back the micronation back, re-doing some parts of it. They decided to make the political ideology based on Nationalist ideas. Additionally, they also found that another overwhelming thing that caused the ephemeral end of Primis was the provinces, instead of having one big group of people focus on the whole nation, they made it more complex and split it. With that, they unified Primis and made it Unitary, no longer having federalism with them.
Primisian Land Reformation
On the 30th of July, 2024, it was decided that the land claim of Primis would be reformed, as the one that Primis had was "too big" and "unprofessional". So, the council of Primis and their members, through a democratic vote decided that Primis would keep their territories like Bagongland, but with their mainland, make the land claim the Division of Goldstein Australian Victorian Electoral Division.
Primisian Republicanism and Return to Democracy
On the 15th of August, 2024, the Primisian people started to rise up against the authoritarian government they had. Taking the criticism and not wanting to lose power, the Primisian government decided to listen to the people, and it was then that they decided to bring freedom and democracy to their country. Establishing a new flag and everything, what was known as "Sovereignty of Primis", changed to the "State of Primis", no longer a totalitarian regime, but rather a Republic following conservative values.
August Elections
Only around a week after the creation of the State of Primis, they held a democratic election. This election consisted of four parties, the Fish Party, the Federal Libertarians Party, The National Syndicalist Party/Movement (which was mainly there to see if people wanted to return to the Sovereignty of Primis), and the Republican Party. Lasting for roughly around 24 hours, the winner of the election was the National Syndicalist Party, which made great changes to Primis

Sovereignty of Primis Return
After the August Elections of Primis within the state of Primis, on 6 PM GMT+10/AEST/Melbourne Time, it was declared that the state of Primis and all other opposing political parties were destroyed and that the return of the Sovereignty of Primis was confirmed as restored and had returned.
Economic Converting
Soon, Primis turned to State-Capitalism. The reason behind this is that National Syndicalism wasn't all too good for them, and looking back in history, it seems that State-Capitalist countries seemed to be generally more successful. Examples of this include Francoist Spain, Russia, China, Singapore, Vietnam, UAE, etc. Already after this change, it seemed that everyone in Primis appreciated this.
The Third Republic of Primis
Again, when the overwhelming amount of Republicans rose up in Primis, Primis' supreme leader, Zacharias together with the Supreme Council made a decision to convert Primis into a dictatorship into a democratic republic, based off of the ideologies of the Alt-lite and Neoconservatism. With this, they had a new flag, a new coat of arms, a new name, and a whole new identity. They chose to make themselves seen as the USA of Oceanian Micronations.
Digital Primisian Presence
Getting most of its attention in the digital world such as on Discord, here on Microwiki, etc, it created an online defense force known as the "Primis Defense Force". It is made up of coders and so on, it is mostly used to spy on other micronations online and gather intelligence.
National Zionist Republic of Long Island and Primis War
The National Zionist Republic of Long Island (NZRLI) is a micronation infamous for Nazism, Zionism, far-right extremist ideologies, racism, etc. While there were some Jewish Nazis and it is possible to be a Jewish Nazi, the Republic of Primis and its people saw this as absolute nonsense. Though, they were still allied from when Primis was fascistic, in the Sovereignty of Primis. However, as times went on, the NZRLI revealed itself to be more racist, Zionistic, Christophobic, islamophobic, etc, which angered the people of the Republic of Primis. Then on, a 15-people raid was made on NZRLI's weak discord server with a lack of defense, ultimately ending in a Primisian victory. From then on, a cold war had started between the two, and mass making of propaganda was made against the NZRLI and their leader, Steven Buber.
The Union of Novanist States Joining and Creation
President Zacharias, seeing as his people did not enjoy the free speech they were given as they were offended by what some were saying and all, decided to gather with a friend named "Avenue", where they discussed and created an ideology called "Novanism". Novanism is a culturally far right and economically National Syndicalism ideology that can be considered fascist, however, it distances itself from mainstream fascism as it generally does not believe in racism, racial purity, antisemitism, etc. It does, however, support traditionalism and anti-mass immigration.
After this ideology was founded, it was eventually adopted, the Republic of Primis was no more, and soon Primis became a state of this micronation which had turned into a federation of many others known as the Union of Novanist States. Even though the federation had just started, it had already taken Varistan, a French micronation located in the French department of Var. The UNS was keen on taking more micronations as states for their federation, and the UNS was also keen on spreading their ideology, Novanism.
Collapse of the Grandis Union and the Second Republic of Primis
After only about a few weeks of the Grandis Union being established, it was made clear that a federation spanning across continents would be inevitable, therefor on the 13th of October 2024 the Grandis Union was dissolved and Primis then became the Second Republic of Primis. The ideology of Primis then followed more patriotic conservative views rather than what they had before, which was Novanism. However, Primis still kept their anti-mass-immigration policies, as well as their promotion of Religious Unity even after the fall of the Grandis Union and Novanism no longer being used.

Government and Politics
Primis is a micronation whose government and politics are crucial to everything in the micronation. Without the government and the politics, Primis would have never existed.
Early government
The early government of the Sovereignty of Veritasland is considered the earliest government in the region that the Federal Republic of Libertas now takes. The ruling party of Veritasland, Veritasland Nationalist Party, was an ultranationalist, totalitarianist, fascist/Francoist-like party that advocated for those ideologies. They put the communists and pro-liberty citizens into labor, which shows how totalitarian they were. And as it was said in the history part of this microwiki page, the reason why the Republicans stood up is because they were sick of being oppressed by the Veritasland government. So, when the Republicans revolted, Veritasland came crashing down in decline before collapsing, leaving everything to the Libertas Republicans to take. Then, the Republicans voted for the nationalists to take over in the democratic vote of June 2024, bringing back the old Veritasland-like rule. After this, as seen in the Primisian Republicanism and Return to Democracy (See history for details), it returned to it's similar Libertas-like republic form, no longer authoritarian.
Head of State
The President is the most important person in the micronation. They get to make big decisions and choices for the country, an example making alliances setting good relations with other countries, and choosing important people to work with them. Overall, the President of Primis is very important to protect the Power and Glory of the state and to bring it to greatness.

Geography
Primis exists both in real life and online through Discord servers and such. But, for this part of the microwiki on the micronation, we'll be focusing on the physical geography of Primis and its land claims.
General location
Primis' general direction is described as being in Southern Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The land claim Primisians have is through many different suburbs and regions, and the mainland claim is just the Division of Goldstein Australian Victorian Electoral Division. But it also has some other territories outside that area, which are only listed limitedly here.
Weather and Climate
Winters are estimated to be around 9-12°C (48-54°F), and summers are estimated to be around 22-26°C (72-79°F). It rains quite frequently in the winter. But the overall climate and weather in this depends on the season. "When it's winter, it's really cold, and when it's summer, it's really hot, no in-between." as described by residents, travelers, and citizens of the Second Republic of Primis.
Economy of Primis
The Federal Republic of Libertas (What was formerly the State of Primis) established its currency to support its economy on the 8th of September, 2023; The Libertas Dollar (LD). Though, the Libertas Dollar was only used for a few weeks before it was discontinued, now being a collector's item and instead using the Australian Dollar (AUD) as their currency, not being bothered or able to make their own.
Culture
The Primisian culture is very similar to that of Australia's, and Europe's. The national animal, the Eastern Grey Kangaroo (Macropus giganteus), is to symbolize strength, speed, and where the country is located, Australia.
