The Sash of the Grand Cross of the Three Orders (Portuguese: Banda da Grã-Cruz das Três Ordens) is a national and dynastic order of knighthood of the Kingdom of Eminia. It is the highest Eminian award, followed by the older Portucalense Order. It's current Grand Master is King Louis Phillipe of Eminia.
It was established in 2020 by King Victor Manuel as a dynastic order reserved for the King of the Eminians and, in very rare cases, for a person that received the Portucalense Order, the Order of the Blue Wyvern and the Order of the Fleur-de-Lis.
Origin
The Order's origin begins with the foundation of the three orders by King Victor Manuel of Eminia, Duke of Bregenza. However, His Majesty preferred simplicity to opulence in his life, and carrying three badges was too much for his humility. In order not to fall into arrogance or haughtiness, he had a Sash created where he could place the three orders of the Eminians.
His son, already a monarch, King Louis Philippe of Eminia, ordered the perpetuation of the custom and created, through Decree-Law III, on 18 December 2020, the Sash of the Grand Cross of the Three Orders.
