Etymology
The etymological origin of the micronation was from the Latin ruber (red color) and -ia, «Place of Red Earth», for the mines of Mazarrón.
Territories
The capital of the micronation was Hermenepolis.
The area of the original territories of Ruberia covers 89.5 km², and is accessible on Google Maps.
Ruberia was structured through Districts, which are the territories where there are permanent residents holding citizenship.
Symbols
Law 22/2021 of 21 May on the symbols of Ruberia fixed stable symbols and abandoned the provisional ones, which were used between March and May 2021.
The coat of arms of Ruberia represents the three founders of the country, who laid the groundwork for the nation through a republican tradition.
The flag represents the Ruberian homeland (red), peace (white) and respect for ancestors and traditions (black).
Provisional symbols (March–May 2021)
The colors of the National Flag represent red for the native lands, black for the respect to the traditions of the ancestors and white for peace.
In the Ruberic Coat of Arms, the six-pointed star represents the tradition of welcoming all creative currents as well as a talisman, the square and the compass represent the creative and contained path of the citizens, the dragon represents the vigilance and custody of the Ruberic traditions.
Government
The Federal Government was responsible for diplomatic activity, regulation in those areas that affect the whole of Ruberia and the organisation of activities at the national level.
The district governments enjoy self-government with powers in the management of their own territories, the convening of activities in their territories, day-to-day management in those areas that do not affect the whole of Ruberia and the promotion of local culture.
