Royal Family of Westavia

The Royal Family of Westavia is charged with handling matters within the nation of Westavia. It consists of all individuals who are related to the High King and his direct relations the King- and Queen-Regent and the Prince. All relatives of the High King are considered to be a part of the Royal Family, though they may not necessarily hold a title.
Royal Line of Succession
If the current monarch dies, or more realistically, abdicates then they are succeeded by their sibling. If the sibling who assumes the throne dies or abdicates, a member of the Extended Family shall take the throne, likely the cousin of the King. If the King has more than one cousin, the Royal Succession Committee shall look to any orders by the King providing directions as to which person shall be the new monarch, if such a document does not exist, the oldest relative of the King shall become monarch and the second oldest shall become the Prince. An abdication crisis could potentially create a civil war, which is the stated reason for the existence of the Royal Succession Committee .
Animals/Objects
By a royal decree from the Crowned Prince, animals and objects can be integrated into the royal family. However, there are currently no animals or objects in the royal family.
