Republic of Verland
The Republic of Verland is a micronation located off the coast of Guernsey that was founded in 2021. It is made up of two islands which are North and South Verland. Despite being smaller, North Verland is the capital of the republic. The currency is the veram which is equal to 1.3 US dollars.

International relations
Verland is open to international relations which can be submitted through the official instagram account.
Despite not having a formal treaty, Verland is very close to South Sentinel which is a micronation located in the Indian Ocean. On 13 October 2021 a peace treaty was signed with the Sultanate of Unova.
The Micro Alliance
On the 23rd of December Verland founded the Micro Alliance. Any nation is free to join.

Sport
Football
The Verland Republic Football Association is the governing body of football in Verland. The association also has stood up to stop online hate.
There is a lot of fixtures for the national team with the first match being played against Mirktgrad on the 17th October 2021 which ended in a 2-2 draw. The team's first victory was a 4-3 thriller against Yiğitistan on the 19th October 2021. After a treaty was signed with the Sultanate of Unova, the Verland, Unova treaty shield was made which ended by Verland winning on penalties.
Verland Micro Cup 2022
Verland founded the Micro Cup and will be the first team to host it. The cup will be in the summer of 2022 and already has a number of participants. It will take place on the two islands of Verland which will bring revenue to the islands and offer jobs.

Most citizens are employed by the police and armed forces although there are still other companies:

The majority of the government's money comes from tax although some comes from selling resources.

Military
Verland has 3 branches of the military:
Each branch trains regularly and has funding from the government. Verland also has agreements with other micronations for military aid if needed. The military provides the police with intelligence and help as well.
Police
The Verland police keeps law and order on the island and guards the small prison. Furthermore, there is very experienced armed police for emergencies.
