Name

The name of Stone (史東) is the abbreviation of Stonailong (史東艾隆). The name of Stonailong was derived from a animated television series called The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, most characters live in the fictional city of Stormalong Harbor (史東艾隆港).

In 2017, Stonailong was abbreviated as Stone and became the official country name of the Republic.

History

Uno and Lego era

In 2013, the State of Uno (UNO國 or 烏紐國) was established in Jingmei. The people of Uno built an economic system like lottery tickets and vouchers.

In the later stages of the disintegration of Uno due to internal divisions, some of the survivors reorganized themselves into the state of Lego (樂高國).

After many political disputes and civil wars since the middle of the Lego period, the country split into the "Lego United Empire" led by the Kao clique (高系) and the warlord group led by the Weng clique (翁系), and on May 5, 2015, the two sides reached a reconciliation and merged to form the "Lego United Democratic Empire" until the end of the same month when the two factions disagreed again and the Lego era was finally declared extinct.

First republic

On November 29, 2017, the Preparatory Committee of the Republic of Stone issued ''the Declaration of the Founding of the Republic of Stone'', which declared the establishment of the Republic of Stone on that day, and on December 3, the Provisional Government of the Republic of Stone was established. The early years of the republic were chaotic and lacked a basic concept of a micronation, and were full of fictional elements.

January 1, 2018, The Republic of Stone and seven other countries, including Chrisland, ChungNing, and Castile Portugal, signed "The Micronations Co-prosperity Treaty" (共榮和平公約) to form ''The Micronations Co-prosperity Treaty Organization'' (微型國家共榮公約組織), which is today known as Taiwanese Micronations Alliance (福爾摩沙微國家共同體).

January 21, the first constitution of the Republic of Stone was promulgated, a constitution similar to that of the Republic of China (Taiwan), making the First Republic's system of government similar to that of Taiwan today, but it also lays down hidden worries for the future. In the later years, when the population of Stone was decreasing, the redundant government departments became the main cause of administrative efficiency, and the Stone government had to carry out the policy of amending the constitution.

October 28, the Republic of Stone signed the ''Treaty of Yat-Sen'' (逸仙條約) with ChungNing, Chrisland, and Baijania in Yat-Sen City, declaring that the four countries had entered into an alliance.

Second republic

In March 2021, the central government announced the start of a new constitution to replace the ineffective old one. In May, the government announced that the preparation of the constitution was complete and that it would begin the process of submitting the draft amendments to the parliament. On July 1, President Kao signed the new constitution, which was announced to come into effect one month later. On August 1, the new constitution came into effect, announcing that the Republic of Stone had entered the Second Republic.

Geography

Republic of Stone is located in southern the Taipei City, Taiwan. It is bordered by the Wulishxue River (霧裡薛溪) on the south and the Xindian River (新店溪) on the west. The generally low-lying terrain of the central areas and the western side of Stone slopes upward to the north and especially to the southeast, where it reaches the 141 meter (463 ft) tall Xianyan Mountain (仙岩山). The Republic of Stone limits cover an area of 3.7 km2 (1.4 sq mi).

The longest river in Stone is the Wulishxue River, which runs through the mainland and separates the Dingxi Region from other administrative regions.
