The Republic of Frankia, also known as Frankia, is a micronation that seceded from the United States on January 20th, 2021. Founded by a man named Matthew, it is situated in Minnesota, North America. Despite being confined to a small bedroom in an apartment unit, the nation claims a much larger territory. The government is a presidential republic with three branches: the President, Senate, and House of Representatives.
Frankia was established after the dissolution of its predecessor, the Republic of Arbabwe, which existed from 2012 to 2014. The former president of Arbabwe abandoned the nation due to political reasons in the United States. Prior to its current name, Frankia was known as Friklinberg and Wehttam.
