Estalonia (French: Estalon), officially The Republic of Estalonia is a micronation in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is based upon the principles of scientific thinking and freedom of expression. The micronation proclaimed independence in 2016, however a formal declaration was made in 2020 when the interim prime minister signed the independence document.
Etymology
The term "Estalonia" was coined by the Prime Minister Suhail Ahmad after a total of 10 states combined to form a single powerful union.
History
In 2016, Suhail Ahmad and his family procured the territory of Stambia from Mr. Shabir Ahmad for a sum of approximately USD 40,000. In the next year, they claimed the city of Hawloque and Delmarsh. The other remaining territories were claimed in 2020.
Politics and Government
The nation is ruled by its interim Prime Minister, Mr. Suhail Ahmad elected by a panel of four members and he shall exercise his powers till a final constitution is enacted by the Estalonian Constitutional Assembly.

The Republic of Estalonia enjoys the friendly relations with the Republic of India. Estalonia allows visa-free travel for the Citizens of India. In addition, no duties or customs are charged on the Indian products. Estalonia recognizes, and is recognized by two fellow micronations, Espoona and Nacion Microncionalista.
Geography and Climate
Estalonia is located in the center of Srinagar City in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir, India. Since most of the land is urban, a very little vegetation can be found within the territory. The climate of Estalonia is highly variable throughout the year. In the summer season, the temperatures range between 25 °C to 35 °C, whereas in winter season, the temperature fall up to -8 °C. The winter of period 2020-21 was recorded as the coldest winter of the state in the last seventy years. The same period there was a heavy snowfall, more than 1 feet, which was again the highest in last twenty years.
Culture and media
The Estalonia does not possess a National language as a consequence of its diversity of languages. The two main languages of communication are Kashmiri and Urdu, however most of the official documents released by the government are published in either English or French languages.
