Qardashis (Qardashi: قارداشینا [qɐɾdaʃina] or [gɐɾdaʃina]) are an Indo-Iranian ethnic group native to the Islamic Sultanate of Qardasha, where they make up 57-60% of the population. Most Qardashis live in Qardasha, with there being very little to no diaspora outside of Qardasha. Most Qardashis identify with Qardasha based on the culture and the nation (eg. eating Qardashi food, or speaking Qardashi) rather than race or ancestry
Etymology
Qardashis are named after the country where they originate, Qardasha. "Qardaş" means "brother" in Azerbaijani and Qardashi, because they believe they are all brothers
Origins
Most Qardashis are of Indo-Iranian origin, specifically Indo-Aryan. However, a lot of Qardashis have roots in Africa and Arabian roots. Qardashi is an Indo-Iranian language because of this
Qardashis identify as Aryans, since they are Indo-Iranian, and many Qardashis also have roots in Bangladesh
Culture

Qardashis share a common culture rooted in Ottoman culture, and some Islamic culture. The nation is considered to be a Persianate society.

The native language of the Qardashis is Qardashi, the language itself named after the people. Qardashi is the sole official language of Qardasha, and it is the main administrative language, with members of the government required to use it for business. However, English is commonly spoken in Qardasha too, and is a scheduled language of the nation
