Principality of Stefanasia

Stefanasia, officially the Principality of Stefanasia (German: Fürstentum Fükfuf; French: Principauté de Paléea) is a self-declared independent state, more commonly known as a micronation to external observers. Posaf was founded in Hagonoy, Bulacan.

Etymology

"Stefanasia" derives from "Stefanas", which is "Stefan" in Lithuanian and the suffix -ia means "land of" in Latin, So the name of the principality means "Land of Stefan". The country is named after Stefan Dečanski the King of Serbia from 6 January 1322 to 8 September 1331.

In German and French, The country's name is "Stefanasisches Fürstentum" and "Principauté Stéphanoise" which literally means "Stefanasian Principality".

History

The Principality of Stefanasia was founded by Prince Christopher I on 2 January 2022, after showing interest in a video about the micronation Molossia, Prince Christopher I wrote the Declaration of Independence on 3 January 2022. He proclaimed himself the nation's first Monarch as HRH Christopher I. The first micronation Stefanasia began relations with Belcity.

Foreign relations

The Principality establishes and maintains diplomatic relations with other nations through the Foreign Office, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Minister has the power to grant "states of friendship" and tacit recognition, but official recognition of another nation may only be granted by the prince.

Geography

The total surface area of the Principality of Stefanasia is approximately 103.10 km² (39.81 sq mi).

Most of the Principality is swamps and fishing ponds.

Administrative divisions

Stefanasia is comprised of several separate pieces of land. The most populated territory, Uvenia - the Ikonia capital - consists of the Prince's Palace of Monaco, a residential property. All main core Stefanasian lands hold a representative, and are consisted of lands in Hagonoy, Bulacan.
