Prigarod Tower was a Slavtrian tower in Biznes Plaza, Prigarod City, Studia County. Most of the tower was used by Slavtrian mass media company MediaSlav.
The spire incident
The spire incident happened at 1:30 PM SDT on 31 October 2021, 30 minutes after the building opened. The bottom of the spire was weakened for unknown reasons and bent west, crashing onto the roof, and hanging over one of the busiest spots in Prigarod City - the intersection of Plaza Road and Biznes Way. The Prigarod Police reported it to the construction company, Slavtrian Constructions, and cranes were raised as fast as possible. The spire was raised back into place and fixed. The construction company added more structural materials to the bottom of the spire so this will not happen again.
Demolition
A pipe in a nearby building burst sometime in the morning on 18 February, causing major water damage to the whole plaza. Both 1 Biznes Plaza (Prigarod Tower) and, the under construction, 2 Biznes Plaza were beyond repair, causing the city to demolish the whole plaza.
Plans for new buildings to replace Prigarod Tower and 2 Biznes Plaza in a different location were drawn on 21 August 2022, 2 months before the upcoming 1 year anniversary of Prigarod Tower being opened to the public. On 31 August 2022, Biznes Memorial was opened to the public, replacing Biznes Plaza.
