The President of Zyamfrancia is a form of a Zyamfrancian political organisation, which one is the head of state of the Socialist Republic of Zyamfrancia. The president leads the Zyamfrancian Armed Forces, which he/she is the commander-in-chief. Since the rule of Zeriez Hasan started, the president and vice president are both directly elected to a 5-year term, once renewable, allowing for a maximum of only 10 years.
Zeriez Hasan is the second and current president of Zyamfranz. He assumed office on 20 December 2022.
History
Robbihas era
The Zyamfranzan presidency was established during the formation of the Zyamfranzan constitution act by the SZRA and the HZRA. The office was first officially filled at 9 August 2022 when Robby Hasan directly became the official president of Zyamfranz. Yet, the political organisation responsible for elections, ZNOE (Zyamfranzan-nonpartisan organisation for elections), was not yet formed. In 18 August 2022, Zeriez Hasan, Vice President of Zyamfranz, announced that the ZNOE will be formed, but will only be responsible for governor, ministry, and mayor elections. On 12 September 2022, Robby Hasan made the decision to split the head of state and the head of government. Although the decision was not made to be de jure, the government supported the idea.
During the Night Slashian era of Zyamfranz, the government announced that the decision to split the head of state and the head of government will be de jure. According to the announcement, the head of government will be a prime minister, which was still in election. In 20 September 2022, Rorzen Abaderia won the prime minister election, and would do the head of state's actions, but to the government.
Zeriez era
In 20 December 2022, Robby Hasan's role was changed with Zeriez Hasan, due to the retirement of Robby Hasan. Zeriez would then form a new law, that the head of state will have an election every 5 years.
Election requirements
Together with the vice president, the president is elected directly only by Zyamfranzan citizens, and must be 17 years old or more to vote, including around 20-50% of the population of each state and province. The candidate of the election must first find a vice president to be in the election.
Oath of office
Before taking the office, he/she must make an oath at the ZNOE. If the ZNOE is unable to conduct a session, the oath will be made in the SZRA. If the DPR is unable to conduct a session, the oath will be made in the HZRA. If the SZRA is unable to conduct a session, the oath is made before the presence of the political leadership presence in the Official Agung Court.
