The President of Aurora is the head of state of the Republic of Aurora Pakin Thammapon. The president is largely a ceremonial figurehead with limited powers. While in office, he or she must remain impartial. The officeholder cannot publicly express any political positions. The parliament elects the president to a five-year term. The position is not term limited. The current president is Salma Hughes.
