The President of the Republic of Woultenland (Spanish: Presidente de la República de Woultenland) is the head of state and government of the Republic of Woultenland. The President is the highest political position in the nation by influence and recognition. The president heads the executive branch of the federal government.
Among other powers and responsibilities, the constitution entrusts the president with the duty of "faithful execution" of federal law, makes the president the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, authorizes them to appoint executive and judicial officers with the advice and consent of the House of Legislators, places them in charge of foreign policy, and allows the President to grant pardons or moratoriums.
The president is elected by indirect suffrage by an electoral department (or by the House of Legislation if the electoral department does not grant a majority vote to any candidate) for a four-year term. In the event of the death, removal, resignation, or resignation of a president, the vice president assumes the presidency.
Till date, there has been a total of only one inauguration and only one presidency. The current president is Briam Solis, who is also the inaugural office-holder and assumed office on 26 February 2016.
