Political parties in Gasconade

The Meanwealth of Gasconade is a Bauwersjteit local-government within the Republic of Ethosia, elections are typically held in a party-list system, with some exceptions. Political parties are fairly important in Gasconade, and Ethosia as a whole.

History

The first political party in Gasconade was the Gasconadian National Front, which soon transitioned to the Gasconadian Social Nationalist Front. It was a left-wing, and Christian nationalist political party, however it, and the creation of political parties as a whole, were banned in late November, 2021, this was overturned in late December, 2021. Soon after, the Folks Front emerged, then after the Ozark Union with Ethosia, it was renamed to the Folks-Social Nationalist Front; and in anticipation of the Bauwer Forbond, it renamed itself once again to the Bauwer National Front. Only in February was another party established, the Gold Party.
