The People’s assembly is the legislative body in the Socialist Union of Alabama, it is currently not in session and the nation is currently being run by the Politburo Standing committee Of the Alabama Union And the President of the Union of Alabama. Application forms to become a member of the politburo will be released soon, in order to be eligible you must:

  1. be a member of the National Workers party or be approved as a candidate by the president
  2. be a citizen of the Union
  3. promise you uphold the revolutionary values of the workers party
  4. Be at least 17 years old

People’s assembly members are expected to represent the workers revolution and the nation as a whole and NOT their own personal Interests, any People’s assembly who the president feels isn’t representative of the free spirit of the union may be removed from position and new elections called. When elections to the people’s assembly are held there is usually only one candidate per Workers district meaning that you either say yes or no to the candidate.
