The Palace of the Parliament is the administrative building of the House of Deputies and the House of Princes. This is one of the top official buildings owned by the Government of Istria and has been used to host various ceremonies, parliament's sessions, constitutional court sessions, and many other important events like balls, state dinnars, and so on.

The building has various suits, dormitories and offices. The main part, and most common used, is the Parliamental Hall, which is the most luxurious in the palace. There is also the Administration Offices and the Cabinet Room. Another part of the palace, and the last one from Complex A, houses the National Constitutional Museum.

Evolution of the Palace

Early use, 2000 revolution, and redecoration

In the early 1980 the Presidential Palace, as it's often called, has been the residence of Redon Medas, the great Emperor of the Dristorian Empire. He has been the first to stay there, as his strategy was to set the capital in the city in the country he has invaded, so he could have more control over that territory. The White Block, short after became also the parliaments house of the empire, serving as the legislative, executive and judiciary part of the empire. This place became a very secured place, many civil-like counter-espionage being there from the first hour to the last.

After the 2000 revolution, when Redon Medas was exiled, this place became the official parliaments building. In 2007 it was decided that could also host the President. Although the Presidential Apartment was very nifty decorated, Theodor Adin, decided to redecorate it and make it stylish. It was a hard work to remake the entire Presidential apartment from zero.

In 2013, the sitting president took the office and moved in. This allowed him to make changes that wore done in time. The last redecoration of the palace was in 2021 and had a major change in the Presidential Apartment.

The White Block since Iordan restoration

In June 2020 the Parliament passed a legislation so that the presidential administration could do major house restoration to the Administration Floor, as the second floor is often called. So it was, the administration started a major restoration project that lasted since October 2020, until February 2021.
