The Wotan Group (German: Wotan Gruppe), officially known as PMC Wotan (German: PMF Wotan) is a New Prussian state-funded private military company (PMC) controlled by the Kaiserreich. The Wotan Group has used funding from the New Prussian Military Evidence suggests that Wotan has been used as a puppet by the New Prussian government.
Wotan has been used extensively by the New Prussian government to great effect. With almost every engagement involving Wotan being won by New Prussia. Wotan is exclusively a Pagan militia, with Polytheism being a requirement for enlistment.
History
PMC Wotan was orignally formed in The Second Republic of Schpecktenia by Luka Hochreich I after the Two Days War, this PMC was comprised of New Prussian Nationals and Pagans with the intent to have a militia for the percieved oppressed religious group. The unit also adopted members of the defunct "Totenkopf Battalion". This unit was later integrated into the New Prussian government after New Prussia became independent from Schpecktenia.
During the New Prussia-Schpecktenia War, PMC Wotan was the first to engage, seizing Schpecktenian colonies. A joint operation between the Reichsheer and PMC Wotan was launched against the capital of the Imperial Federation of Schpecktenia, the Grand Estate of Meadowen, where the forces were able to capture the city. This event is one of the largest and successful operations of the PMC Wotan.
During the Greater Metro East War, PMC Wotan briefly feuded with the Reichsheer due to the Reichsheer's perceived incompetence and sabotage of Wotanite equipment and supply lines. This was forcible ended by the Kaiser in order to secure the front.
Equipment
PMC Wotan is a Private Military Company, as such, the standard issue is very lax. Wotanites are expected to wear EMR Camo as their BDU, with any plate carrier vest, or tactical vest. Wotanites supply their own rifles, but are encouraged to favor the Kalashnikov family. Wotan itself, supplies the vehicles, such as trucks, drones, dirt bikes, and Personal Carriers.
Activities
PMC Wotan has been confirmed to have operated in 3 Micronations, New Prussia, Schpecktenia, and Taydrostia and 1 Macronation, The United States of America. Other countries have reported unconfirmed operations inside them.
New Prussia
As PMC Wotan's base country, PMC Wotan has multiple offices and bases inside of New Prussia. PMC Wotan has been contracted as Private Security for various New Prussian officials and as Arms Manufacturers for the State
Schpecktenia
Schpecktenia is PMC Wotan's home/native country as it was founded in the Province of St.Charles, but became a full fighting force in the Duchy of New Prussia. PMC Wotan was allowed to open offices and be hired by Schpecktenians in Autumn of 2023. As the Klature Brigade is nationalized and changed into a Special Forces Counter Terror Group, Wotan is taking over as the top Private Military of the Greater Metro East.
New Prussian-Schpecktenian War
PMC Wotan was hired to forcibly annex the Schpecktenian Colony of LeClaire, the group was met with no violent resistance and was generally described as "Polite but odd" by locals. The nickname "Friendly Vikings" was given to Wotanites that participated in the annexation. Shortly after this, war began and Wotan was fully mobilized by the New Prussian government and saw limited action in the Battle for Meadowen.
Taydrostia
PMC Wotan has faced action in the ongoing Greater Metro East War. This began with Operation Loki, a joint operation between Klature and Wotan as an armed Recce operation in occupied New Prussian territory. Klature and Wotan took back the occupied territory and fended off an attack by a patrol of Taydrostian Rebels.
United States of America
PMC Wotan has operated in the United States with dubious legality, they have used United States land to transport troops and gear into Micronational Zones.
Secondary Wotan Run Businesses
Wotan has been known to run secondary businesses inside New Prussia. These range from Private Security to Arms Manufacturing.

Alleged Far-Right Elements
The Wotan Group has been accused of being run by, or including the Extreme-Right, or Neo-Nazis into the organization. Due to the usage of Pagan Symbols that have been appropriated by the Far-Right. These rumors have been denied by Wotan leadership and have been explained as a genuine religious usage, instead of a political message.
Totenkopf Battalion
The Totenkopf Battalion, the precursor to the Wotan Group, the Totenkopf Battalion, was formed by Kaiser Luka's brother during the Two Days War. This unit had the logo of the Russian Imperial tricolor, with a Totenkopf in the center. This unit has been tied to far right activities, however it was disbanded immediately after the civil war.
