OnopolissiAir is a micronational airline, and flag carrier of Onopolissia, based in Lachlan's Lookout, Capital State, Onopolissia. It undertakes both virtual and real-life operations, and operates both passenger and cargo flights. Its main physical base is Lachlan's Lookout Airport, and its virtual base is Paphos, in Pilot Training Flight Simulator.
History
The airline began planning as a simple, paper-plane based airline that could be the flag carrier airline for Onopolissia. After Lachlan's Lookout Airport was constructed and completed, it became clear that Onopolissia required a way for passengers to access the nation, through a nation-based air transport service. Shortly after, it was brought up that Onopolissia also would need a way for freight to enter and exit the nation, and as such a freight wing began planning. A few months later, the virtual game of Pilot Training Flight Simulator was discovered, and it was decided that OnopolissiAir would undertake operations in it. On 28 April 2023, the airline was declared functional, and the first flight was from Paphos to Greater Rockford the day after.
