New Neshanic is the territory colonized by the TDC Empire in and around Lake George, New York, that is currently part of the Kingdom of TDC. The territory would start to form around the 10th of April, 2023, when the governor-general of the Neshanic colony would visit family land around the area and set up claims for TDC, establishing the George Colony. On 1st of September 2023, when Jason I and the governor-general of the Neshanic colony would the land it would officially become a Viceroyalty and have its land expanded. The larger of the two Viceroyalties within the TDC Empire, New Neshanic consists of four colonies, each having it's own Govenor who makes up the New Neshanic Council, the main leislature of the Viceroyalty. The largest and most developed colony being New Ticonderoga, which was divided into the counties of Benedict, Blütland and River-Hill. The other three colonies being Rock Island, Prison Island and Ceder Archipelago. The lands have a wealth of natural resources such as timber and fresh water. This was capitalize on by the Treskan Lake George Company, which was founded along side polity to help fund it.
Foundation of the Viceroyalty
George Colony
During April of 2023, around the time of the First TDC Colonial War, George colony would be established, being sponsored by Jason I. Fort Atlas would be built and colonial counties of Benedict and Blütland would be established. This layed the foundation for the later expedition and colonization of the land.
Expansion and Viceroyalty
After around 5 months, Jason I would arrive in George colony and start an expedition led by Daniel E. who would eventually become the Viceroy. On this expedition uninhabited islands in Lake George were visisted and claimed by Treskan colonists. This would see the edition of Rock Island, Prison Island and the Ceder Archipelago to Treskan colonial claims, which eventually led the Kaiser to create the Viceroyalty.
Treskan Lake George Company
During the expedition, the men sought to seek profit from the multiple natural resources in the area, and decided to found the Treskan Lake George Company, that would be personally funded by Frank Prune. This Company made and spent in total approximatly $185. The company was granted free access to the land in exchange for the money it made.
