The Nassuvian gubernatorial crisis was a political crisis concerning the leadership and the legitimate governor of Nassau which was contested since the resignation of Isaiah Burdette.
The crisis began on 10 February 2021, over governor Burdette's refusal to pass the Charter of the National Governors' Association, despite a poll showing its support among the population. On 15 February 2021, after much public outcry, Burdette ratified the charter and resigned shortly afterwards.
After Burdette's resignation, the office of governor was left vacant as there was no line of succession at the time. Azerianus Severanus claimed to be acting governor, citing his position as the runner-up in the last gubernatorial election. Guy Watts also claimed the office and released a petition with more than half of the state as signatories declaring himself as acting governor.
On 16 February 2021, the National Governors' Association recognized Watts as the legitimate governor. In the March 2021 Georgienstinian gubernatorial elections, Ali Farrokhzad was elected governor.
