"De nostro et nos infirmi sumus, nos sunt fortis united" (English: on our own we are weak, united we are strong) is the official motto of the United Republics of Michigan and has been in the motto since its creation. The motto advocates for the unification of Michigan micronations into a greater state. The motto was put on the first second and third coat of arms of the United Republics but in English.
