The Monarchist Party of Constantia (Hellenic: Μοναρχικὸν Κόμμα τῆς Κωνσταντίας) was a monarchist, Christian nationalist, conservative, far-right political party in the Kingdom of Constantia, founded by Quintus De Vitaliis, a Græcian micronationalist who serves as a Burgess of Constantia. Its aim is to establish political conditions that protect the monarchy in Constantia, promote Christian and national, traditional values, and preserve the cultural heritage of the micronation.
History
Origins
The Monarchist Party's founder, Quintus De Vitaliis, has no political affiliation within his own micronation, Græcia, as the partisan system has yet to be adopted. As a result, given the chance to establish his first own political party in a foreign micronation, he combined some of his personal beliefs and thus came up with the ideological structure of the Monarchist Party.
Founding and registration
The Monarchist Party was founded on 30 January 2023 AD and immediately registered at Constantia. It was approved on the same day by the Chancellor of Constantia.
Alliance
On 1 February 2023, the Monarchist Party entered an alliance with the then-Ecumenical Party of Constantia (now the Nationalist Party of Constantia), which was initially called the EPC-MPC Alliance, before adopting the name Ecumenical Alliance of Constantia, as agreed by both parties' leaders. The Liberal Party of Constantia would join a few days after.
Dissolution
On 10 July 2023, Constantia became an Imvrassian hegemony, effectively ending the need for political parties. As a result, the Monarchist Party's activity was initially suspended indefinitely; it was confirmed that the party had in fact dissolved on 16 October 2024.
Ideology
The Monarchist Party's ideology mainly revolved around monarchism, the belief that the state should be run by a monarch. This, combined with the Christian nationalist and conservative factions, put the party's ideology in the authoritarian right quarter of the political spectrum.
Factions
The Monarchist Party was divided into three core factions:
- The Monarchists (Hellenic: Μοναρχικοί)
- The Nationalists (Hellenic: Ἐθνικισταί)
- The Conservatives (Hellenic: Συντηρητικοί)
Each of the factions was responsible for the promotion of the corresponding agenda, in order to smoothly produce the party's directives.
Identity
The Monarchist Party's logo is a combination of a broken crossed circle and the crown of the Kingdom of Hellas. The party's colours are red, white and black – each of them represents one of the three party's factions: red for the Monarchists, white for the Conservatives, and black for the Nationalists.
