The Minister of the Interior is the head of the Ministry of the Interior, an Executive Department of the Kingdom of Aspen. The primary responsibility of the Minister of the Interior is to manage the conservation and management of Aspen’s natural resources.
The current Minister of the Interior is Unix AM.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Minister of the Interior has a number of duties related to the protection of the environment and natural resources. The three primary responsibilities of the Minister of the Interior are:
- Managing the natural resources of the Kingdom of Aspen through the departments of land management, forestry, and fishing and wildlife.
- Developing climate and environmental policies, as well as ensuring the protection and conservation of the environment and wildlife through the National Parks Service, Environmental protection and enforcement agency, the Aspen Institute of Geological and Meteorological Research, and a number of other agencies.
- Ensuring a standard quality and safety of food, as well as developing food and drug regulation and standards policies.
