Non-standard template that has aged very poorly, and has long been superseded by {{Infobox official 2}}, {{Infobox official full}} and {{Infobox officeholder}}. The few previously extant examples of pages using this template have already been converted to newer templates.
Note: as the earliest revision of this template is from a 2013 data dump, the author is unknown, so I have not been able to identify a user to message on their talk page regarding this TFD. Sertor (Chat) 21:46, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

Template:Authority control

Originally nominated for deletion by User:Summi Imperatoris on 5 March using the old pre-AfD standard deletion template. Rationale for deletion was "Rendered obsolite due to lua errors on MW vs WP".
The template is notably plagued with errors, with its sole three mainspace usages displaying only errors. Sertor (Chat) 22:06, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

@MattL: Personally I would keep discussions separate per template because I think especially in mass dumps, lots of details can get missed in the discussion if it isn't really focussed. Sertor (Chat) 17:41, 25 July 2023 (UTC)

@Sertor Valentinus: There are certain situations where bundling nominations makes sense, such as a template and its dependencies, or when the reason for deletion is the same, such as with the five nominations above; all are unnecessary navigational templates.
