The Mathenian Imperial Protectorate of Great Leighs was formed on 29 June 2018 in a proclamation issued by the Supreme Leader of Mathenia to his citizens. The IPGL was promised to the Sellen by the Supreme Leader. It was the second Imperial Protectorate to be formed. -- The IPGL was in existance as a de facto entity since the middle of June 2018 but it was not until the 29 June that the Supreme Leader officially gave the region autonomy.
