The Lord High Admiral of Albia is the ceremonial head of the Royal Navy of Albia. The office of Lord High Admiral is one of the nine Albian Great Officers of State.
History
The office of Lord High Admiral is one of the oldest and highest military offices in the Kingdom of Albia. It was created on 13 June 2022.
Appointment
The Lord High Admiral is appointed by the monarch. They typically appoint members of the royal family, courtiers, themselves, senior nobles or senior naval officers to the office. However the monarch may appoint anyone. Typically naval officers appointed to the role rank at Rear Admiral of above.
