The history of the legislative branch in the Kingdom of Mivland can be broken up into 5 major periods: the Dujaukta, the Dujlibrata, Constitution I, Absolution, and Constitution II.

The Mivlandian National Parliament (Mivlano: Mivlano Naṡoɲola Parikongra), or MNP, was the legislative branch government in the Kingdom of Mivland from August 29, 2018 to August 14, 2023.

The formation of the national parliament was previously outlined in Amendment 1, Section 2 of the Mivlandian Constitution, before being replaced by the House of Governors after the signing of Act 1007

The parliament was made up of nationwide popularly elected citizens who represented to the executive branch the interest of the people voting in individual provinces. The parliament allocated 2 representatives for each federally recognized province. Because of Mivland's low and dispersed population density, a census to calculate how many representatives should represent a province was been deemed impossible, leaving a federally mandated minimum of 2.

The parliament was charged with the passage of federal legislation, known as bills, which, after majority vote and compromise, were sent to the Prime Minister and the Monarch to be either approved or vetoed. The Parliament also had its own federal powers as it initiated all bills, impeached federal officials, and could remove the monarch from power in a removal trial. The Parliament rarely voted in person but all meetings occured in the South Wing of Greyhouse Palace.

The parliament had 3 high ranking officials: the Prime Minister, who worked along side the Monarch in passing laws and regulating the order of government, the Secondary Governor, who was responsible to help maintain and regulate the parliamentary chamber with the Prime Minister, and the Parliamentary Majority Leader, who was the head of party with the most members of parliament and controled the voting bloc.

On August 14, 2023, the parliament was called out of session indefinitely during King Jesse I's "Unthinkable Proclamation" and the absolution of government powers, and was formally abolished as an institution on January 24, 2024.
