The Land of Paperis, more commonly known as Paperis, is a micronation that is settled upon one piece of paper. The nation was founded on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 and is surrounded by the state of Virginia. It is 8.5" x 11" and has no known population whatsoever.
Etymology
The name "Paperis" is based off the word "Paper" due to the fact that the nation is on a piece of paper. the "is" Part is based upon the mythological island of Atlantis.
History
Pre-print Era
Before The Printing Occurred, A Google Document was made with the Exact layout of Paperis.
The Printed era
On Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 6:18 PM, Paperis was printed using an OfficeJet 4630. This was the start of Paperis. An air force was created, made from paper airplanes, and a new form of government was adopted. This form of government was called a Unigovernment. This form of government was inspired off of the many cities and towns that only have one resident (Ex: Monowi, Nebraska)
Government
Paperis is a Unigovernment ruled by Michael of Paperis. Michael of Paperis is the only person who both has citizenship on Paperis and rules over it.
