The Labour Party of New Cambria (Welsh: Plaid Llafur Cymru Newydd) is a left-wing political party in New Cambria that was founded on the 16th of March, 2020. It is a progressive party that advocates for Socialism and minority rights. It was originally known as the Celticist Party however Iacof ap Antoni decided to change the parties name on the 27th of April 2020. The party places importance and pride upon Alatonias Celtic, specifically Welsh, roots and symbology.
History
The party was founded on the 16th of March 2020 under the name "Celticist Party". It changed on the 27th of April to the Labour Party of New Cambria. On the 27th of February 2021 Iacof ap Antoni left the Labour party in order to form the Christian Solidarity Party, passing leadership onto his colleague and close friend Paulo Pontón Guerreiro. This symbolically represents the passing of power from the Monarchist faction to the Republican faction.
