The Kingdom of Hoffensburg or Hoffnungreich is a small kingdom located in the Middle of Oakland County, Michigan. The Kingdom of Hoffensburg is an absolute monarchy and is controlled by King Chandler the 1st.

History:

The Kingdom of Hoffensburg started with the fall of the Republic of New Clarkston in a peaceful revolution on January 7th 2022. The fall of the Republic separated the Colony of Hoffungdorf from the Republic and soon Hoffnungdorf reformed into the Kingdom of Hoffensburg three days later. King Chandler I was crowned throne but, the last tenement of the Republic of New Clarkston did not recognize these claims and there leader, King Jack the 1st tried to reunite the Kingdom of Hoffensburg with no avail. After the Kingdom of Hoffensburg was formed it went really inactive after in what everyone calls the “Stagnate Era.” The Kingdom made a resurgence when a power vacuum in the area occurred and The Republic of New Clarkston dissolved on March 8th, 2022. There were two Duchy’s that where around the time of the Kingdom of Hoffensburg. The Duchy of Valkryia was the biggest of the Duchy’s and held the most power. The Kingdom of Hoffensburg had made a pact with the Duchy of Valkryia named the Clarkston Confederation later added two more nations to the Confederation: The Republic of Andromeda and the Duchy of Eqarura on September 27, 2022.

Etymology:

The word [Hoffen] come from the German word Hoffnung. Hoffen is the more English way of saying it and the German word for the Kingdom of Hoffensburg is used still. Hoffnungreich is the German way of saying the Kingdom of Hoffensburg but the direct translation is “Hope Realm” or “Hope Kingdom.” Hoffnung means Hope in German and so does Hoffen. The suffix “burg” means “fortified place” in old English.

Government:

The Kingdom of Hoffensburg is a absolute monarchy consisting of one king: King Chandler I. King Chandler is the first Monarch in the Hadlein Dynasty. The King controls Dukes that control the territory’s around the nation. The three territories are: Saßidorf, Sälizdorf, and Lugerhaltz. The current population of the Kingdom of Hoffensburg is four. Saßidorf is controlled by King Chandler 1st. Sälizdorf is controlled and maintained by Duke Caleb of Sälizdorf. Lugerhaltz is controlled and maintained by Duke Ventimiglia of Lugerhaltz.

Geography:

The lands of the Kingdom of Hoffensburg are with few settlements. The Kingdom borders The Duchy of Valkyria to the south and the United States of America Elsewhere. The land gets Cold winters and warm summers with perfect springs and autumns. The biggest forest is the Blauwade forest in southern Sälizdorf. The forest is rich with wildlife and is on the biggest body of water, Sälizdorf Lake. The only major elevation difference occurs between northern Sälizdorf and the Blauwade Forest. The sharp decline in elevation occurred do to glaciers in the Ice Age. The glaciers carved out a bluff making the Blauwade Ridge. In most Northern Territory, Lugerhaltz, Haltzhill can be found. Haltzhill is the second largest elevation change in the Kingdom and it has only been hiked two times. The hill is mostly Shrubs and small tree’s and this is where the Kingdoms’s Favorite sport is held, Sledding. Besides the hill, most of Lugerhaltz is really flat and there is only one small Forest, the Grünfalz forest located in the northeast of the Territory. Inside of Grünfalz forest there is a rundown settlement by the original country the owned the land, the Republic of New Clarkston. Lugerhaltz has the second biggest body of water, Cranberry Lake. Finally, Saßidorf is all flat land and there is a historical structure on that land. “Der alte Kirche” is the oldest landmark in the Kingdom of Hoffensburg and it has unknown history to it.
