The 3rd Infantry Regiment, King Olav V Grenadiers and Rifles Regiment Guards is an infantry regiment of the Queenslandian Army, launched on 19 August 2019. Originally part of the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, Queenslandian Grenadiers Foot Guards, later in early 2019, it was announced to improve the appearance of the Royal Ceremonial Guard to dissolve the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, Queenslandian Grenadiers Foot Guards and then form a new infantry regiment.

Regimental award
on 19 August 2022, Queen Benedikte X issued a Royal Decree granting the Military Order of William Virtue in Grade Knight to the King Olav V Grenadiers and Rifles Regiment Guards for service to the nation and the crown and marks the 3rd anniversary of the establishment in the regiment. It is the third unit to receive this honour.
