Prince Juan Antonio de Borbón y Caamaño, 5th Duke of Dogana, Prince of Serravalle, is a Spanish nobleman who is currently head of the House of Bourbon-Dogana and a dynast of the Royal House of Bourbon-Anjou.
Life and familly
Prince Juan was born in Madrid, Spain, on 8 March 1980. He is the third son of Prince Antonio Carlos de Borbón y Lamela, and María de la Esclavitud Caamaño. He succeded his elder brother Antonio Carlos de Borbón y Caamaño as 5th Duke of Losada, after his death without issue.
In 2004, he married a british aristocrat, Monica Fitz-James Stuart, daughter to the 5th Duke of Ross, who later on would become the 28th & 30th Countess of Nithsdale, by whom he had three children:
- Prince William James Robert Fitz-James Stuart de Borbón, 7th Duke of Ross, 5th Marquess of Olgana, etc.
- Princess Anne Marie Fitz-James Stuart de Borbón, of Serravalle.
- Prince Alexander John Fitz-James Stuart de Borbón, of Serravalle.
They divorced in 2014, and in 2022 he remarried, this time to Ana Álvarez de Lago, who previously had two children from her previous marriage:
- Álvaro Riego Álvarez de Lago.
- Tamara Riego Álvarez de Lago.
Currently he runs the Foundation Duke of Dogana, with his sister Princess María, and the city of Dogana, in San Marino, as co-mayor.
Titles, styles and honors
After the death of his brother, the 4th Duke of Dogana, he inherited the subsidiary title of Marquess of Olnani, as well as the condition of titular to the title of Prince of Serravalle.
