Japitt Air Lines is an airline that is wholly owned by the Japitt Group. The airline was founded after Japitty Cumquat aquired a small abandoned airfield within Dharawal National Park, which now serves the Japittist enclave Badu Park II.

History

Japitt Air Lines was founded in 2021 after Japitty Cumquat 'acquired' a small abandoned airfield in the Dharawal National Park, He dubbed the airfield 'Japitty Cumquat Wilton International Airport', however the name was changed to 'Japitty the Unwilling International Airport' after members of the Japittist religion established a small enclave nearby (much to the anger of Japitty Cumquat). After this Japitty diverted finances from the Japitt Group to purchase a small Taylorcraft BL-65 and began 'holiday charter' operations to Katoomba and Bankstown. The airline soon expanded with its first scheduled route Mittagong, However the airline did not see much success with both its charter routes and its scheduled routes. Despite losing money Japitty Cumquat insisted the airline expand its route network to include Nowra and Campbeltown. After this the airline acquired a ERCO Ercoupe and began a scheduled route to Bankstown, marketing the flight as a 'stupid Japittist town to Sydney' flight. The airline continued to lose money, although this did not affect operations. In the month of October the airline hosted its first passenger, a man from the town of Wilton 'looking for a joy flight'.

After this monumental occasion the airline began to market a 'Festivalo Number Blue service' to transport members of the Japittist religion from the local area to Sydney via Bankstown. The service was a huge success with an overall five passengers being transported. This established Japitt Air Lines as the 'unofficial airline of the Japittist religion'. The airline then began to change its operations so that members of the Japittist religion living in Badu Park II and the south coast could fly from a verity of airports to the airlines Badu Park II hub then fly to Sydney (Bankstown Airport). With this change in business model the airline acquired a Dornier Do-27 to operate longer rotes. With the addition of the Do-27 the airline was able to begin services to Canberra and Moruya. As of now the airline is operating a fleet of four aircraft to a network of five destinations from its hub at Wilton and its focus city at Katoomba.
