History
On March 20th, 2024, Abubakar Ibrahim I was in Mamou, Guinea with his family, he came across a small 500 meter island and explored it, he found a population of 25 people, he decided to declare it a satellite state of Dunjakistan. Abubakar set up a government in the island due to it being unclaimed, he came up with the name 'Fulara' due to the main language on the island being Fulfulde. Abubakar patrols the island every week with his small boat, sometimes he brings military personnel or guests.
Military
Fulara has no military, however Dunjak military personnel patrol the island regularly and set up a small structure called the Dunjak Barracks, a minor skirmish broke out against Barazkian force who attempted to take to island, The Dunjaks managed to fend off the Barazkians causing their capture. the Barazkians were held at Fulara for 2 days before they were taken back to Guinea.
A small division was set up by the Dunjaks called the '1st Fulara Division', the division is trained on naval warfare due to the land being surrounded by water, the division has 5 soldiers and is considered a split off of the Dunjak Armed Forces, Dunjakistan protects the island and incase of any warfare they step in and drive out the hostiles, Many of the attempts to take the island were from Barazkians, The Dunjaks set up a security force within the 1st division on April 9th 2024.
Ethnic groups
The Ethnic groups of Fulara are about 80% Fula and 20% Dunjak, The Fula's on the island speak Fulfulde and some even speak Dunjaki. The Fula people in Fulara mainly rely on their crops due to them not being able to herd animals on the small island, some Fula on Fulara have assimilated into Dunjak society and taken up military positions in Dunjakistan, Abubakar Ibrahim I is one of the Fula people on Fulara.
