Club crest and team colours

The club's crest serves as an homage to the namesake club from Nikaia, Greater Piraeus, Attica, Hellas.

The club's colours are dark blue and white. The blue shade was derived from the borough's flag. For the secondary colour, the founders of the club chose white over the golden shade of the eagle on the flag, since the blue–white combination is associated with the "Ionikos" brand name.
