The Imperial Realm of Stonewall was a micronation to be located on James Ross Island, at the northern end of the Antarctic Peninsula. It was founded in 2004 as a GLBT homeland nation, but it later evolved into the state of North Antarctica, which is part of the present Federated States of Antarctica.
The Realm was intended to be a "camp" monarchy, similar to the Imperial Court system of North American GLBT communities. As a state within the Federated States, it now has a Republican system of government.
