The Imperial Court of Judicature is the international court of the Oxford Accord, a group of former British colonial micronations.
Jurisdiction
The ICJ can hear two types of cases:
- Cases between members of the Oxford Accord
- Cases from within a member referred to the ICJ by the member's highest court
Powers
The ICJ has the following powers:
- Prohibit some government actions
- Refer a member to the Council of Ministers to be removed from the Accord
- Order an inquiry into an issue
Justices
The judges of the ICJ are known as Imperial Justices, the chief of which is the Principal Imperial Justice. They are appointed ad hoc, when cases require.
