The Imperial House of Memeraeus is the designated head of state of the Empire of Memeraeus. The members of the House are also the members of the Imperial Council that governs the state.

Members
As of January 2020, the Imperial House of Memeraeus consists of two (2) members:
- Antonius I of Constantine
- Peter I Doukas
Former members
The following members were either expelled or chose to withdraw from the rights of the Imperial House:
- Alexander Reverendus the Phrygian (since mid-2019)
- Arsène the Isaurian (since mid-2019)
- Alexander I Komnenos (since 3 January 2020)
- Demetrius I the Macedonian (since 3 January 2020)
- Quintus II Dejanović or Dragaš - Palaiologos (since 7 January 2020)
- Manuel II of Justinian (since 21 January 2020)
- Stella Laskaridou or Vatatzi (since 21 January 2020)
Origin
The Memerians share their origin with other Byzantine noble families, as they are descendants of various noble families from the Balkans and the Levant.
Exiles
The four individuals that once belonged to the Imperial House chose to live in exile and stop using their imperial titles, after a short period of inactivity. Their decision was mutually sealed with the highly ranked members of the government.
In the afternoon of 3 January 2020, one more individual, Quintus II, temporarily suspended himself from the Administration's activities, citing personal and academical reasons. He is expected to formally resign from mod anytime soon, yet no press conference has been issued from any of the two sides, namely him and the two Admins of the Group. He removed himself from his duties on 7 January 2020, thus making his spell the shortest of any moderator in the history of the group.
Two more members, Manuel II and Stella, resigned after midnight, on 21 January 2020, leaving the group temporarily without moderators, after Antonius' desperate last effort to revitalise the group, through a "purge".
Pretenders
Three of the imperial counselors are the members of the ByzGang faction. Their ultimate goal is to renovate the Empire as the "New Eastern Holy Roman Empire" in Constantinople, with Quintus II claiming to hold the title of Emperor in pretense with no heir apparent so far. In the early stages there were plans with Alexander Komnenos to aid as a co-Emperor, but eventually withdrew and focused on military and religious issues. Last, but not least, Manuel is the most precious member of the faction, since he is a descendant of Constantinople Greeks.
Aftermath
Following the fall of the Empire, the now council-in-exile was reorganised within the remaining quarters of the State, as Antonius and Peter are no longer communicating with the former members of the Council. And although the House is not officially dissolved, it is de facto suspended and its status as an Imperial House is in fine unofficial. Various sources claim the final act of the Imperial House being a secret council somewhere in Athens to discuss a future business plan, but no further comment has been produced by any of the attendants, perhaps out of respect for the private nature of the talks.
