House of Hargreaves-Gent
The House of Hargreaves-Gent (German: Haus der Hargreaves-Gent; French: Maison des Hargreaves-Gand; Dutch: Huis Hargreaves-Gent) is an English-Belgian royal and noble dynasty, a cadet branch of the House of Hargreaves, that has ruled over the Kingdom of Sarum since 2023. The house previously reigned in the Kingdom of Norton and it's various client states and territories from 2022-2023 and is a noble house in various other nations.
The dynasty serves as a cadet branch of the old English bourgeois House of Hargreaves whose origins are traced to the counties of Cheshire and Lancashire in the north of England, and established de jure through the marriage of Ellen Hargreaves, to the Belgian Edward Gent (anglicised: Ghent) in 1814. The house is associated with the Saruit royal family through the cognatic descent of Alexander of Sarum.
