The Government of Granby, formally and commonly referred to as His Majesty's Government, is the federal government of the Kingdom of Granby. The government is led by the prime minister (currently Sir Alex Leblanc, since 30 April 2024), who selects all the other ministers. The prime minister and their most senior ministers belong to the supreme decision-making committee, known as the Cabinet.
His Majesty's Government is split into ten offices, each headed by a Secretary of State or a Minister. Each minister of the crown is responsible to the House in which they sit. This is usually Members of Parliament, however, members in the Council of State are able to become Secretaries of State.
The Granbian monarch, currently Mark, is the head of state and the sovereign, but not the head of government. The monarch takes little direct part in governing the country and remains neutral in political affairs. However, the authority of the state that is vested in the sovereign, known as the Crown, remains as the source of executive power exercised by the government.
