Hero of Labour, officially Hero of Labour of the Frondesian Federation, is an honorary title and the second highest honour in the Frondesian Federation. It was established on 28 August 2023 and is one of the oldest national honours.
The title is the second highest in Frondesia and is immediately subordinate to the Hero of the Frondesian Federation title.
History
The title of Hero of Labour was established by the second presidential decree, which was the same decree establishing the Hero of Frondesia title. The title was founded on 28 August 2023.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Hero of Labour title, candidates for the honour need to be a citizen of the Frondesian Federation and be either working for the state or in a sector of public or political interest.
Criteria
According to the establishing decree, the Hero of Labour title is officially awarded for "special labour services to the state and the people associated with the achievement of outstanding results in public, social and economic activities aimed at ensuring the welfare and prosperity of Frondesia".
When a citizen is recognised as having met the requirement for the award, the Government of Frondesia gives their name to the President of Frondesia with the recommendation that they be awarded the title. The title is then awarded at the president's discretion as the president is the ultimate authority for granting this title.
